If you are looking for a quiet getaway with great scenery, Tippecanoe River Lazy Bear Retreat is the place for you. The nearby attractions were fun for the smaller kids. The Tippecanoe River Lazy Bear Retreat was a great place to decompress. My family and I were able to fish, play all sorts of indoor and outdoor games provided by Lazy Bear Retreat, sit by the firepit, relax on the deck, and si at the riverside and greet people as they float by. It was nice to have a fully stocked kitchen to make a quick snack or prepare a meal. It truly was a great place to disconnect from life's stressors, relax, and enjoy all of what Tippecanoe River Lazy Bear Retreat had to offer. We look forward to our next visit.

Boo Boo's Den is a labor of love for the owner and it shows! He is SO creative with his repurposing of different items from rakes that the kitchen utensils hang from to the pitchfork that serves as a towel shelf in the bathroom. The kids had a blast looking for all the cool, quirky items. And the property is a kids' dream come true with a games, toys, DVD's, a zip line and even their own guest house for older kids. (Baby Bear's Hotel) Vince has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable.

Our stay at the Tippecanoe River Lazy Bear Retreat was absolutely fantastic, especially for our grandchildren. The owner, Vince, thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable, fun, and relaxing. We had a great time fishing off the pier, enjoying nature, and relaxing on the VIP swings and the hammock by the river. Our three grandsons, aged 5 to 10, loved playing at the Baby Bear Motel/playhouse. There are numerous games and activities for the kids to enjoy, including a zipline for added adventure. They had so much fun that they didn't want to leave and they can't wait to go back. The accommodations were impeccable, and the pride and attention to detail are evident in every aspect of the property. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to plan more trips in the future. I highly recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a great vacation. You won't be disappointed!

We visited Lazy Bear Retreat in early October and had a great time! It was still warm and people were using the dock across the river to enter the river for tubing. The amenities are plentiful and the place is spacious. We will definitely be returning soon! Five stars all around!
